The following questions and answers are designed to provide basic information about the structure costs and support systems of our franchise program.

  1. What is an AIM Mail Centers Franchise?
    • AIM Mail Centers are complete postal and business service centers. Each center offers over thirty (30) different products and services.

  2. How many AIM Mail Center Locations are there and where are they located?
    • AIM Mail Centers has grown to almost 100 stores across 20+ states.

  3. Is small business management and marketing or packing and shipping experience necessary to have a successful business?
    • Experience is always helpful but it is not necessary. We have a philosophy here at AIM Mail Centers. We hire for attitude, we can train for the rest.

  4. What are my total financial requirements?
    • The franchise requires an investment ranging from $134,100 to $215,400 including the initial franchise fee of $ 26,900 and working capital. Third party financing is available on approved credit with a minimum cash investment of $50,000.

  5. Does AIM Mail Centers offer financing assistance?
    • Yes. We have third party financing assistance. Not only assisting in finding a lender but helping you with your business plan and proforma. Also assistance in the application process and all the other required documentation.

  6. What is the investment for continued support?
    • For continuing support, update, product development and vendor discounts, your investment is a royalty of 5%. The Advertising & Development Fund Royalty is 2%.

  7. Do I find my locations or does AIM Mail Centers find it for me?
    • Some available shopping centers are in our files, some are located by franchisees or brokers. In either case we are there to help you with the selection of the best location for your AIM center.

  8. Will I get a protected territory for my franchise?
    • Yes. You do receive a protected territory for your store. AIM Mail Centers would never put another center close to an existing AIM that might have the chance to jeopardize its business.

  9. Will AIM Mail Centers help negotiate the lease?
    • Yes. AIM will negotiate the lease with you. AIM has over 23 years of experience. We will provide you and your broker with deal points-from lease rate and extension options to AIM signage and design elements we want addressed with the landlord.


  1. Will AIM Mail Centers assist with store build out?
    • Yes. AIM mail Centers provides project management to create a professional store design to be consistent with AIM Mail Centers brand. We help you and your local contractor complete your build out efficiently and quickly.

  2. Do I receive training from AIM Mail Centers National Support Center?
    • Yes. You and your designated manager attend and complete an initial training and familiarization course of ten business days. The training fee covers training for up to four (4) owners/managers. Costs related to travel and lodging will be at your expense.

  3. Do I receive assistance in opening my AIM Mail Center?
    • Yes. In addition to your initial training AIM Mail Centers National Support Center will send one of its Business Advisors to your facility to work with you for a minimum of three to five business days during the first week of operation.

  4. What form of continuing operational and marketing guidance will I receive?
    • You will receive periodic visits by one of our Business Advisors who will consult, assist, and guide you in all aspects of the operation of your AIM Mail Center. There is an (800) HELPLINE for immediate assistance. You will also have access to the AIM Mail Center Franchisee Online Support System.

  5. What is the term of my franchise agreement?
    • The basic term is for fifteen years (15). You may renew for the two additional consecutive terms of five (5) years.

  6. May I open additional centers in the future?
    • Yes. We would be very excited for you to be a multiple store owner. Once you have proven to be a successful owner operator we will allow you to open as many units as you are capable of managing.

  7. How do I get started?
